《赤腳斜走大刀》是中國(guó)民間文化杰出傳承人，著名民間表演藝術(shù)家吉靖羽先生1986年獨(dú)創(chuàng)的鏗鏘絕技。其表演充滿著原始的野性和神奇，張揚(yáng)著生命的偉力，是目前民族民間絕技表演類節(jié)目的最高表現(xiàn)層次的代表作。他所走過(guò)的大刀長(zhǎng)從6 米、12米，到18米，最重達(dá)2.23噸，刀口朝上，刀刃鋒利能吹毛斷發(fā)，呈35度斜坡?tīng)睿嗟孛孢_(dá)12 米。刀身刻有花、鳥(niǎo)、魚等圖案。吉靖羽先生能赤腳在刀鋒上表演正走、倒走、滑走、“金雞獨(dú)立”、“大鵬展翅”以及頭頂?shù)沽⒌雀鞣N驚險(xiǎn)動(dòng)作，功夫爐火純青，世界空前，已達(dá)登峰造極之境，所到之處，掌聲不絕，蜚聲海內(nèi)外。吉靖羽先生因此被譽(yù)為“刀鋒上的奇人”、“世界大刀王”。并被錄入《世界名人》。
吉靖羽先生表演的《赤腳斜走大刀》，其意義在于把戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的武器——大刀踩在腳下，向人們倡導(dǎo)一個(gè)和平友好的社會(huì)環(huán)境。同時(shí)，通過(guò)吉先生的表演，向人們展示民族團(tuán)結(jié)，不畏艱險(xiǎn)，自強(qiáng)不息，勇敢向上的精神。

Performance: “Barefoot walk on the sword” is a Chinese folk culture heritage played by the famous folk artist Mr. Ji Jingyu , created by him in 1986. This performance is full of original wild and magical, is a masterpiece for the highest level in China. The swords he played from six meters long to 18 meters, the sword can be 2.23 tons, sword blade up is very sharp. The distance from the ground is 12 meters.
